ABOUT THIS LESSON
Choosing one class responsibility that uses a strength for the common good. The lesson helps students choose one class responsibility that uses a strength for the common good.
TEACHING INSIGHT
Every person shares the same God-given dignity, and every person is entrusted with real work. Our particular strengths do not earn that dignity — they shape the kind of service we can offer.
FACILITATION FOCUS
The main application is “Design a micro-commission”, where students move from discussing the idea to trying it in a concrete example. Keep returning to the takeaway: “The best service is useful, humble and small enough to keep.” Look for whether students needs are named as shared class conditions, not as complaints about individuals.
