ABOUT THIS LESSON
Mapping the trusted adults and peers who can help you. The lesson helps students map trusted adults and peers for school, home and community.
TEACHING INSIGHT
God often gives help through other people, so needing others is not failure. A friend can notice and stay with you, while adults carry the responsibility to protect and act.
FACILITATION FOCUS
The main application is “Build a support map”, where students move from discussing the idea to trying it in a concrete example. Keep returning to the takeaway: “A strong support team always has more than one route.” Look for whether students name roles rather than problems, and offer more than one route.
